Known for its intense resistance to wear and tear, water repellency and long-lasting durability, Cordura is used in industries across the globe.
Cordura fabric is a primary ingredient in many of the world's leading high-performance gear and apparel products ranging from luggage and backpacks to military equipment, workwear, and motorcycle apparel. We decided to apply it to our footwear due to its technical characteristics.
We believe that sustainability starts with products that lasts. Cordura's high abrasion resistance and low weight make it an excellent fabric for footwear. We used it on the front and side panels for its ability to shed weight but remain super strong. It has high tensile strength fibers and will withstand long term wear.
Another advantage of Cordura fabric is its water resistance. The structure of the material is non-porous, which makes sure that water beads up and rolls off. In addition, this textile is quick to dry. Even if you do encounter a lot of water, Cordura will not stay wet for long.
Cordura is a durable material that is built to last and moves with you no matter where you go.
