They are crafted from a combination of oiled suede and hand-woven natural leather straps, with a thickness 1.2-1.4 mm and soft to the touch, this allows more precision when weaving the leather.

The hand-woven natural leather straps detailing, on the side panel, gives a refined aesthetic to the ELME. It takes fifty minutes per pair to apply these hand-woven leather straps. After this a textile backing is applied to ensure extra water resistance, reinforcement and firmly fixing the hand-woven straps.
