We developed and designed a new upper pattern on our runner sole. The Culver is the result of 8 months of intensive testing and prototyping. Versatility is a key element when we develop new styles, the Culver is blending formal and sportive design elements.
The combination of folded and stiched streamlined lines, added with perforation details inspired by broque patterns, find their origins in classic formal shoes. We combined this with our sportive ‘runner’ sole and foamed elements on the back tab and tongue for extra comfort. The Culver is a manifesto on versatility, a sense of spontaneous elegance and all-round wearability, this style brings you places in ease and style.

The pictures below are from the very first steps of development process. You can see the first paper patterns and the first tests to see how the lines came out. The inside view is also shown to show how the Culver is build up from the inside. We adjusted things by just a few millimetres several times to find the perfect balance of comfort and style.
